You can pick and choose how you want to profit from your article directory. But do not overwhelm your visitors with offers and banners everywhere.
You can take a look at established article directories and get a very good idea of how you can approach the monetization issue. Do not be heavy handed with the ads, though, because you want people to stay there as long as possible. But no matter because it is all in a day’s work when you are in business online. All successful online businesses test and track, and you should do that too. Testing different things can reveal very profitable things that you would otherwise never think of on your own. That is the only way you can optimize your article directory for maximum impact and conversions.
