I attended traffic school for speeding, violation still appears on my file?

Can everyone can still raise the breach until I attended traffic school? (In other words, the police)

I do not know about other states, but courts in convictions in California report only and only the courts can make to DMV on convictions of traffic. If you go to traffic school in California, the case is dismissed and no conviction.
