How best radar detector for my work?
Ok, I have a radar detector. I have read many comments I and all I saw was bad reviews. I used and it does not pick up police radar far enough to be useful. It'll take about 100 meters which is not very useful for 55 or 60 MPH. The only 2 times I used that sat on the edge … Is it possible to do work better? Maybe he feels more on the map, or on the windshield … IDK. Is this the band Cobra 9 ESD 7400 if that helps any. Thank you guys!
The best method was found to work 100% is not speed. Sorry for your luck but if you need to accelerate then be willing to pay for it.

What these alerts in a radar detector?
I just bought a radar detector Cobra XRS 999, and I wondered what X, K, Ka, and alerts Pop said. Not sure if I planned to collect everything. But what do they mean? I know they are frequencies different, but as I said, do not mean some thing? Thank you
You're right – X, K, Ka and refer to different frequencies (Or bands) firearms used by police radars. Often people are confused why radar detectors should be as descriptive. Why not just have an alert asking you to slow down? It is not so simple because police radar is not alone in these frequencies. To get the most out of your detector radar, it is important to learn more about each band. X-band is pretty old technology for measuring the speed of the computer, and except Only a few states and some small towns is outdated. Still very common in New Jersey and can sometimes be seen in North Carolina, Ohio, and several small cities across the country use old equipment. X-band is commonly used by other technologies, as well as automatic doors, which makes the source radar detector alerts numerous false.
