when you get a new license in a new state, do the points from a previous state follow you? my husband’s points are about 5 years for a dui. he’s a auto mechanic and we’re moving out of state, and needs a clean record to get a new job in washington state, wondering how long i have to wait to move for his record to clear or if it’s a clean slate when we move?
