Help! Study abroad, but next hearing date be?

I am waiting to receive a quote from minor vandalism destruction of a factory. The biggest problem is that will surely be given a court date when I will be out of the country. I'm going to study abroad in 5 days (the quotation must be given in 3 days). I'm done, and I have to cancel my plans for studying abroad (and lose the non-refundable payment for the program)? Is what I can do to cut back? Also, does anyone know if the difference or any other program is available for minor acts of vandalism? I would get to be removed from my file. I have no criminal record, not even a speeding ticket. Any help would be great!
