what punishment am I facing with a clean record for a class D felony and Class A Misdemeanor for Battery?

I am being charged for a Class D Felony and a Class A misdemeanor for battery in Indiana. I have a clean criminal record. Never been in trouble with the law for anything. I even have a clean driving record. So since this is the first offense what am I looking at for punishment? The assault was supposedly hitting my wife and daughter. My wife who originally pressed charges has now went to the prosecuter and filed a form to drop the charges. So again what am I looking at for punishment

I hope they give you the maximum sentence that they can impose. Do you realize that by hitting your wife and daughter- you have changed the way that they look at you forever! Your wife will never feel completely safe with you and your daughter will not respect you as much. At least that’s what happened when I was abused!!!
