Should I pay the ticket or pay for defensive driving?

I have the option of paying for defensive driving instead of paying for the ticket I received for speeding, however, it will be a few dollars more. It will obviously prevent points from going on my record in Arizona, but I do not live in that state and do not plan to move there. Would it be worth it to take defensive driving or just pay the ticket?
