What should I do after being charged with dangerous driving, in Halifax, North Carolina.?

I was arrested to go one mph 90 mph in 70 (I-95). I am 19 years old and was conducted for 16 years, I have no criminal record and do not know what to do. Caroline North is considered reckless driving class 2 misdemeanor, and I worry that will be loaded with a huge penalty. I took my decision to attend the hearing date in Halifax, NC Northern Virginia (where I am). Is this a good idea to take a class traffic before the hearing date to improve my chances of getting fewer points and fines?
