I traveled in the Upstate New York and I can only tell you that if you plan to get a real detector will save you need to spend at least $ 150. When New York needs a detector of high quality. The Nyst are incredibly well using instant on radar than it need a good odor detector to buy a RADAR DETECTOR COBRA! They are the worst ever you can DETECTORS BUY! ————————————- ————- ————————————- ——— To me the best of your radar detector is the BEL group 955 to $ 179 RadarBusters.com. The BEL 955 is not the best but it is certainly the height of the first 3 Radar detectors [Escort 8500 X50 ($ 300), BEL RX65 ($ 329.99), and Valentine 1 ($ 400)] I personally have a BEL Vector 995 ($ 270) and Valentine 1 (400 $) And is only a small difference in detection range. I like both detectors it because of its unique features. The detector BEST radar is on the features you like or need ….. There are 5 radar detectors with equal performance in most respects and will save you tickets contrary to what some will tell you. The Top 5 radar detectors are (in no particular order) the: BEL RX65 BEL STi Escort 8500 X50 Escort 9500i Valentine 1 Personally I use the Valentine 1 as well as the BEL vector 995, saved me so much when it comes to huge fines of police radar. However, for laser treatment that really need a laser disturb (illegal in some states) I use a Blinder M20 laser jammers and laser intercept in my Volvo Lasershield plate. For those who say a radar detector is a ticket notifier obviously do not have experience with a detector higher level. Ask any of my friends who ride in my car.
