Are there hidden consequences of my ticket for speeding?
I just received a speeding ticket an hour ago to 75 in a 50. The officer who hit up to 65 years to 50 to not cost me any demerit point. This is a fine of $ 52. Now, I really do not want to fight, because I doubt that I win. But I am wondering if there are other consequences of the fine of fifty dollars. Before all, be my insurance rates have increased? I I live in Ontario if it matters. Thank you in advance!
I do not speak specifically to the laws Canadian, but I can say that this could be based on laws in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Usually mph for speeding first (if a violation low 1-10 or 11-20 years), you get a fine of creation of issue, but their insurance rates does not necessarily automatically. I received a few entries and no raise. This does not mean, but if its your first, I would say it will be okay. In addition, some States have here a points system where you get as many points against your license. Violations are the most accumulated As more points are deducted until it has exceeded the maximum and your license is revoked. On the basis of the state, some or all items are returned within one year. To my knowledge, Canada is not used, but could be wrong. And you have enough bills and depending on what they are, it could cost jobs in some places where driving is required. But again, if this is your first, do not worry. As for the fight against it, no trouble. Just pay and move on. You'll spend more time and money in the fight against the ticket worth it. Excess Smalling speed is not a big problem. Just learn from it and not the more speed (at least not too much).
