Will I automaticlly go to jail for driving with a suspended liscense in ohio or does it depend on the officer?

I am 24 and only had 2 tickets in my whole life and been driving since 16. I have no criminal record at all.

I can say this with 100% accuracy –
No, it is not automatic.

I’m about to graduate the police academy in Ohio
and I’ve been on ride alongs.

In Columbus, we had two stops one night due to a suspended license.
one went to jail because he had 3 warrants
the other had his car towed, but was allowed to call for a ride “home”

So, while it isn’t automatic that you’ll go to jail…..it’s more likely than not
and it sounds like you plan to continue driving and HOPING that you don’t end up in jail
when, if you were a grown up, you’d take care of your business before it ended up biting you
(and costing you a lot more money by the way)
