Drivers ed in Texas plzzzz helpp meeee?

i finished my driving classes and i had to drive for hours but i didnt finish one hour it was expired now before i left they gave me the record that i completed the class and they told me to go to the dps so i went and they gave me a parent taught driver ed packet im about to turn 18 this august do u think i have to start all over? but i still have my permit from the school, and how long do u think its gonna take me to get my license, do i have to wait another 6 months?

If the classes were no completed then yes you will need to start over, Texas has new laws for this…

If you are under 18, you must show proof of driver education, verification of attendance in or completion of school, proof of social security, and proof of identification (TRC 521.204, 521.222 and 545.424) to receive a permit.

All driver license applicants from 18 to 25 must take a six-hour driver education course.
