Question about radar detectors?
Where would the best place to mount a radar detector on the windshield? The manual says that the best place is so low on the windshield as possible, but it seems that to achieve full coverage of 360 degrees ITD to be very high Because the curves on the dashboard and seats Lock back. I have mine mounted in the center of the plate board and has been there for 2 years without problems. In fact, I saved many, many times lol. But no matter where you put the radar penetrates through everything but metal, so there is no block of metal, do not worry. If mounted on the windshield is low, but not enough for blocked by the windscreen wipers. The reasoning behind this meeting is not high in some states it is illegal to have anything either mounted on the windshield that obstruct the view. It is also easier to detect by the police, but not illegal to have one, I dislike the most not the cops.
