I hope you fight it and win! It is a bad law that was forced on us by the car companies that did not want to build safer cars. Seat belts are cheaper to install. They lobbied Congress and the Senate and used pac money to get it made a law. Did you vote on it? I never got the chance. In South Carolina you can put a child on a motorcycle without a helmet but they will write you a ticket for no seat belt. Please explain how that makes sense. If seat belts were outlawed the car companies would be forced to add more safety features that actually work much better. Color me the guy that was trapped in a burning car by a seat belt. Seat belts help in some cases but kill in others. Where are our rights to choose? How can someone taking bribe money know better than us?
