There is a separate association for women to play in. Wie hasnt even been competetive in her men’s events. Annika Sorenstam hasn’t faired so well, herself.

Just because there are some ways around the rules doesn’t mean women should play with the big boys. What it does is alienate the rest of the women on the LPGA tour. Look at some interviews with LPGA golfers on the subject. They are trying to gain publicity for their own tour, but arguably the two biggest draws are trying (and failing) to succeed against men.

Basically, men wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t just a publicity stunt. These ladies are taking the spot of a man who could really be competing for an exemption or his tour card.
