does a insurance company other than my own have the right to pull my driving record without authorization?

My girlfriend was inquiring about insurance on some jet ski’s and they said there was a problem because I lived in her house with her and they pulled my driving record without my permission. I have a not as good driveing record so they cancelled her insurance on her car because I was living there.. my question is does her insurance company have the right to pull my information and driving record without my permission?

Yes they do. It’s public information but they would have to have your drivers license # and date of birth and pay a fee. They may not have pulled your record. Your presence alone would cause then to cancel if she denied your presence on the application.r
