what are the punishments for vehicular manslaughter in California?

a 17 year old girl was texting while driving. she was driving a big SUV, ran a red light, and t-boned a small Honda Civic. the driver of the Honda died instantly on impact, and the passenger of the Honda died later on that night at the hospital. The driver of the SUV was not injured. The police reported that the sun was not a factor in this accident because she was heading east, and the sun was setting in the west. They looked at her phone records and she was texting at the time that the accident took place. I’m curious to know what kind of punishment she will receive seeing how she is only a minor, but she still took two peoples lives because of carelessness. if you know any thing, please let me know.

Depends if they try her as an adult which they should and probably will. She’s probably looking at a minimum 5 years depending on what they ultimately charge her with. Vehicular manslaughter is being tried more and more harshly all the time.
