driving record state of texas
What is the likelihood of my friend going to jail because a DWI?

Yes I know it sounds bad but this is what I know about his case. He was stopped at 74 mph on the freeway then was arrested because he was considered to be drunk while driving (DWI). The worst thing about it was his younger brother (14) was in the car when this accident happened. Which happens to be a felony in the state of Texas. I know his driving record has quite a lot of tickets due to speeding but that’s it. Yes he is my friend but I do think he deserves jail time because what he was done. What are his chances of going to jail? I know he is going to get a great attorney because he has the money.

It will depend greatly on if this is his first DWI. He is more likely to do some time because of the fact it is a felony, but if it is his first DWI conviction, he will have a decent shot at pleading out and doing community service and probation.

And just FYI, misdemeanor offense = jail. Which is the local county facility. A felony conviction = prison time.

traffic school for speeding tickets
Can you go to school for two traffic offenses?

This is generally for the judge to decide. Most County courts prefer to receive hard cash. But sometimes the judge will let a person go to school traffic (Which takes most of the school traffic) or community service … if the fine points of a person in case of difficulty .. This discussion with the judge, and good luck.

speeding ticket bail forfeiture

That means the confiscation on bail after paying a ticket?

I have a traffic ticket for speeding and no proof of insurance in California, has presented proof of insurance and the amount has been reduced but they still appear court and the last time I checked online My case shows the revocation of bail, is it really bad?

Bail loss means you lose your money instead of bail to appear in court … However, with a traffic ticket that you probably will not bail of any kind. I think that in this case, the court issued a warrant for his arrest, but it is likely that DMV is notified that their lack of diligence on the ticket and a "hold" placed on his license in California.
