Citation for driving without a license?

I got a citation for driving without a license. I live in TX, im 17 so im just waiting to turn 18 to get it. But i was wondering what’s the difference between a citation and a ticket? Will this affect the insurance of the car? what bout my driving record? and most importantly, how much is it? I can do teen court. Honestly tho, Idk what to do. Please help anyway you can. Thanks.

A citation IS a ticket. It will affect your future ability to get a license and will be on driving record and that could affect your insurance. The citation (ticket) should state what you need to do and when you need to do it. Usually you would just go to the courthouse and pay the fine but if you choose, you can go to court and either plead guilty or not guilty. There is no such thing as teen traffic court
