i’m 17. i live in texas.
i know this will look bad on my record, but i got my first ticket going 24 mph over the speed limit. i was going 74 in a 50 zone.
it wasn’t raining, it was about 9:00 am and it was a clear day. pretty empty road. i wasn’t swerving or even changing lanes.
what i want to know is… can this speed be considered reckless driving in Texas? i can’t afford to have my license taken away right now because i can’t get around then, so is there any way that i can get out of it if it IS reckless driving, with just paying a few hundred bucks?
