Detector X-band radar in Illinois?
Does anyone know if X-band radar is used in Illinois? If yes, how?
X may be a few bands out there – but the numbers are low. X-band radar is the first generation, replaced by K, then an attempt to replace K with the Ka-band. For most K and KA is what is there. The difference in May request – the range or distance that each band can travel. X-large band motion was brief, but comparable K in the steady state. There is very little difference between K and Ka band – with the exception of cost. AK is more expensive
