Speeding Ticket 60 miles per hour?

I need some advice. I have a traffic ticket out of state living in North Carolina and had a penalty in South Carolina. What I was doing 75 miles in an area of 60 miles per hour. Do you need a lawyer or simply pay the fine and pay high insurance premiums. I have no notes on my drive and have driven 30 years.

If I you, I just paid. Over 15 is a bit excessive, unless the rest (90%) route would be the same speed or faster. More than 8 can be forgiven, but depends when and where.
