I received a speeding ticket! HELP!?

I received a speeding ticket driving to Los Angeles today. inadvertently and was 24 miles above the speed limit. I seriously do not want to go that far over. anyway, I am able to take traffic school? What exactly should I do? I never received a ticket before. what are the laws of California and other things? PLEASE HELP ME!
