Can I use 1000UF capacitor in a place outside 100UF?
I have a radar detector for my car and the first capacitor in the power cord from the unit is blown I accidentally reversed polarity. All I have in terms of capacitors is 16 volts 1000UF However, blowing a 16 Volt aspect 100UF. Do you work even if I put the 1000UF in?
Since a power filter, it should work. There is always a good idea to do this, but in this case, do not see a problem. I am surprised that the CAP 1000 UF fit in the space of the top 100 UF. I expect to be larger.
