California marriage heading to divorce…abusive wife…need advice…?

I would love many different kinds of advice right now, but I think legal is the best right now. My wife and I have been having some issues, and she’s been both physically and emotionally abusive to me, but I recently found out she had a profile on ashleymadison.com. I’ve confronted her, but she denies and says it’s always about me. And then she got what I can only describe as psychotic. At any rate, I think divorce right now is a smart thing to go for. We married and live in California. I make 3X what she does. She has a son who is not mine (but who I’ve gotten close to). We rent an apartment. She drives a truck bought by her mother. I drive a sports car that was supposed to be a sort of special Christmas present and is in soley my name but was paid for with shared funds. I have records of her cheating and physical/emotional abuse. We have joint savings and checking accounts. The credit cards are my cards but she has a sub card in those accounts. What do I do?

Get an attorney. She is not going to sit back and not fight. Let the attorney make the calls. Do not do this with a paralegal. Do this immediately. As far as the credit cards you could take her off them. However, since she is still in the house what are you going to do when she finds out. Play cool get to an attorney today if possible.
