As someone who test radar detector and used many believe Cobra radar detectors do more around … I have never tasted a cobra that can perform similar or BELTRONIC Whistler detector RadarBusters.com price. The BEL 955 is not the best but it is certainly the height of the top 3 radar detectors [Escort 8500 X50 ($ 300), BEL RX65 ($ 329.99), and Valentine 1 ($ 400)] I personally have a BEL Vector 995 ($ 270) and Valentine 1 ($ 400) and is only a small difference in detection range. I like both detectors the latter because of its unique features. Best radar detector is relative to the features you like or need ….. There are 5 radar detectors with the same performance in several respects and will save you tickets contrary to what some will tell you. The Top 5 radar detectors are (in no particular order) of: BEL RX65 BEL STi Escort 8500 X50 Escort 9500i Valentine 1 I personally use the Valentine 1 as well as the BEL vector 995 has saved me so much when we have huge fines of a police radar. However, laser treatment, which really needs a laser disturb (illegal in some countries) I use Blinder Laser M20 laser intercept and interference in my Volvo Lasershield plate. For those who say a radar detector is a ticket notifier obviously do no experience detector with a higher level. Ask any of my friends who ride in my car. How this COP know how fast was he going?
A few weeks ago I received a speeding ticket. I need to know how the officer "clocked" my speed. In the note, there were "other" and wrote something that is completely spellbook. I can not read, may nevertheless not my friends. The office of the magistrate, the clerk did not help either. Other options that could be controlled were radar clock speed, AOV, ESP, or VASCAR, so it can not be any of them. Any idea what might have written?

i was in an accident and i was not at fault but i had no insurance can i be sued?
i was in an accident feb 2009 and some guy hit me, i spun out on the freeway and CHP was called. I was sited a ticket for no insurance, and no police report was given to me. I didnt report the accident to the DMV because the damages to my car did not exceed 750$ (ca law), but the other driver did so my license got suspended. I printed out my driving record and it says accident not at fault. I got a letter in the mail stating that i was liable for damages of 10,000$, can i still be sued even though it wasnt my fault?
You can be sued but the “not at fault” means that you won’t be liable or your liability is limited. Generally this kind of accident requires a police report in order for anyone to assign fault/blame and culpability. That’s why a police will say 100% at fault. 50% at fault, etc. Its code language for the insurance companies to share the burden of responsibility for pay.
If you are 0% at fault where I live and the police report says so, then your insurance company would not be required to pay the claim. Not having insurance, I can’t imagine that changes whether you are at fault.
Who sent the letter? Someone fishing for money? Only a court can determine who is liable. Don’t be intimidated. A short letter claiming proof that you are 0% liable for the incident should get them off your back. A 2nd letter should they keep harassing you telling them to cease and desist or you will have them arrested for aggravated harassment will be the next step.

A typical young and dumb story but I was going 110 in a 75 traveling back from Miami to GA 3 years ago. I didn’t have any probation or anything, just a nice HUGE ticket to pay for and I noticed my insurance company has shown it coming up when they run my record when I have changed companies. In Georgia, will it drop off after 3 years for insurance purposes?
First. The wreckless driving charge will probably stay.
Second. Your insurance will go up if they don’t decide not to

I drive a car that is in my boyfriends name. I am currently not a co-signer or on the title. We have lived together for seven years, and also shared a bank account. I have definate record that my money has clearly gone to help pay for this vehicle. I need to prevent him from witholding the car from me. Can I use these records to add my name to the title without him knowing???
no, unless you name is on the title and/or loan you have no legal right to that vehicle. technically, he could report the vehicle stolen if you take the car because it is his name on everything. Stop paying for that vehicle it would effect his credit and not yours. The only way to get on the title is for the vehicle to be purchase out-right (no loan) and he must go down to the motor vehicle department and add you to the title. He can’t even add you if there is a loan, because your name isn’t on the loan.
