I moved to Illinois and have a ms drivers lic.. I have old fines. The dmv willn’t transfer my Ms. lic up here. So I have to retake a test. They couldn’t even give me a driving record. I don’t remember where my fines are either. So I’m wondering if I go to take my test up here. Will my fines show up since drivers lic is a state to state thing.

If your license were suspended in Mississippi as a result of the outstanding fines, you will not be able to obtain a license in Illinois until you clear the matter in Mississippi. (pay the fines and get reinstated)
