do you need your blueslip to get your license in illinois?
Ive been driving on my permit for a year in a half now, and i have to get my license ASAP. obviously since i have a learners permit i have taken the class, and completed it but i never recived a blue slip from Jesse White in the mail. I called my drivers teacher and he said i should have gotten it, but if not then the people at the DMV should have it on record in thier computers. I just wanna make sure they would so i dont waste my time going there and back.

Yes, if you are 16/17, you need a copy of the blue slip. You’ll need to call the Secretary of State’s office to see if they have a copy of it. In my day, in the year 2001, they did not keep records of this. If you did not bring the actual blue slip, you wouldn’t be allow to take the driving test.
