People say to get one with a KA-band radar detection. How do I know if I bought everything. Right now I'm Considering the Cobra – 12-Band Radar / Laser Detector with Voice Alert. Does anyone know if this has to Ka-band radar? Thank you in advance

For me the best of your radar detector is the BEL cluster 955, for $ 179 RadarBusters.com. The BEL 955 is not the best but it is certainly the height of the top 3 radar detectors [Escort 8500 X50 ($ 300), BEL RX65 ($ 329.99), and Valentine 1 ($ 400)] I personally have a BEL Vector 995 ($ 270) and Valentine 1 ($ 400) and is only a small difference in detection range. I like both detectors it because of its unique features. The BEST radar detector is relative to the features you like or need ….. There are 5 radar detectors with equal performance in several respects and get cons tickets to what some people are so mean. The Top 5 radar detectors are (in no particular order) the: BEL RX65 BEL STi Escort 8500 X50 Escort 9500i Valentine 1 Personally I use the Valentine 1 as well as the BEL vector 995 both have saved me when it is a huge fine for the police radar. However, for laser treatment that really need a laser disturbing (illegal in some states) I use a Blinder M20 laser jammers and laser intercept in my Volvo Lasershield plate.
