What can happen court wise when a DUI probation was violated in California by blowing a bac of .03?

My husband was taken to jail because he was stopped by the police and when they checked his record he was on summary probation for a DUI in 2006. When he took the bac test he blew a .03 and later took a test at the station and it came out to .02. I don’t condone drinking and driving but really? I know California has a zero tolerance law for DUI offenders but blowing a .02 is unrealistic. Now he is in jail over the holiday. I wonder what will happen when he goes to court?

On probation for DUI the permissible level would be .00 so he will most likely be violated.}{
